MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines will experience a reprieve from the sun’s rays on Wednesday, April 2, as skies all over the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy.

State weather bureau PAGASA reported in their April 1, 5 pm bulletin that these clouds may bring isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms but most likely only in the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, Northern and Central Luzon can expect light to moderate winds to blow from the east to southeast. Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.

Among the 15 major cities with predicted weather forecasts, Tuguegarao City in Cagayan is expected to experience the highest temperature on Wednesday at 36 degrees Celsius.

PAGASA earlier reported that high temperatures often associated with the summer season have already been recorded with temperatures reaching 35 to 38 degrees C.

It is possible for the temperature to hit 40 degrees C in places like Tuguegarao and Cagayan Valley which typically register the hottest temperatures in the country.
