Rainy Wednesday for Western Visayas, parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – It’s a rainy start to October for Western Visayas and parts of Mindanao on Wednesday, October 1, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In their September 30, 5 pm bulletin, the agency said Western Visayas and Mindanao areas, specifically Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula and Davao region will experience light to moderate rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Luzon and Visayas will have light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast. Winds of the same strength will prevail in Mindanao coming from the northwest.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
