MANILA, Philippines The Voice Kids grand champion Lyca Gairanod is set to perform for Pope Francis at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, January 16. 

In an episode of Bandila, which aired Monday, January 12, the singer said she felt nothing but excitement aboutt this opportunity. “Sabi ko, ‘Hay salamat, totoo na yung wish ko na makakapunta kay Pope Francis.” said Lyca.

She will sing “Tell The World of His Love,” the theme song of the World Youth Day celebrations which was held in the Philippines in 1995, an event which the late Pope John Paul II attended.
