LAS VEGAS, USA – Here’s a sneak peek into the MGM Grand Garden Arena where the fight of the century between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao is set to take place on Saturday, May 2 (Sunday, Manila time).
The arena was host to historic bouts such as the meet ups between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, Oscar de la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr, and Oscar de la Hoya and Manny Pacquiao.
It has a seating capacity of 16,800 people and is expected be at full capacity come fight night despite the exorbitant ticket prices. Fight tickets sold out within minutes when it was finally put to sale.
As of Thursday, April 29, the ring was already set up, while the tables for ringside media were being prepared. – Rappler.com
