Espejo, a five-time UAAP Most Valuable Player, will play for  Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler after an incredible collegiate career with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

He will play with the Japanese club team starting this September until May 5, 2019

Early this month, Espejo had hinted of the Japan offer after the Blue Eagles bowed to the National University Bulldogs in the UAAP men’s volleyball championship.

Aside from amassing individual accolades, Espejo also powered the Blue Eagles to 3 straight UAAP championships starting in Season 77.
