Although undersized at the four spot for international play, Ranidel De Ocampo is probably the most offensively skilled big man in the lineup. He is quick enough to take taller defenders off the dribble and has post moves good enough to maneuver and score around the basket.
De Ocampo, a native of Cavite, was picked fourth in the 2004 PBA Draft by the FedEx Express but has been a member of the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters since 2008, where he has been a member of 6 championship teams.
One of his biggest strengths is his ability to stretch the floor due to his outside shooting. De Ocampo has been a key player for Gilas in recent years and overcame a right hamstring injury in August to rejoin the team as they prepared for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship. – Rappler.com
