
MANILA, Philippines – Jaja Santiago and Jorelle Singh combined for 20 attacks and National University made short work of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 in the Shakey’s V-League 12 Collegiate Conference on Sunday, August 2 at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Santiago finished with 12 points and Singh had 11 as the Lady Bulldogs rose to 3-1 in Group A while the Lady Radicals have yet to win a set in their first-ever V-League appearance.
Audrey Paran and Roselyn Doria added 9 and 7 points, respectively. NU is tied for second place with Arellano University in their group.
Abygail Ingeniero had 10 points and guest player Lourdes Clemente added 9 for PUP, who is set for an interesting match-up against fellow winless squad University of Batangas. – Rappler.com
