
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED as of June 7, 11:50 pm) – The main event of The Manila Major, a premium DOTA 2 tournament organized by Valve, kicks off in Manila on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. (READ: ‘The Manila Major: What it is, where to watch‘ )
Also known as the Spring Major, it is the third tournament in Valve’s DOTA 2 Major Championships series, following the Fall Major in Frankfurt, Germany and the Winter Major in Shanghai, China.
Sixteen teams from around the world will compete for a whopping $3 million prize pool.
The main event will be held from June 7 until June 12 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
