The iPhone 7 and new PlayStation 4 models are set to be unveiled

MANILA, Philippines – Apple users and gamers alike will be eagerly anticipating some new announcements over the next few hours.

Apple is expected to come out with the much-awaited iPhone 7 and a new Apple Watch, in addition to some software upgrades. Meanwhile, Sony is expected to announce the next big thing for the PlayStation, which may come in a slim variant of the PlayStation 4 or a new upgraded model of the console.

If you’re planning on staying up, here’s a quick roundup of ways to watch the Apple and Sony events.

Apple’s event: September 8, 1:00 am (Manila time)

Those who are anticipating Apple’s event in the Philippines can check out the Apple Events page closer to the start time as the company will be holding a livestream on that page. 

Those running Safari on the Mac or iOS will be able to watch the above-linked page on their Apple machines, while those running Windows 10 can view the event by firing up Microsoft’s Edge browser and heading to the page as well.

Sony’s event: September 8, 3:00 am (Manila time)

Sony’s PlayStation event will be held at 3:00 am and can basically be viewed on any browser.

The event will be streamed over at PlayStation’s Live page.
