MANILA, Philippines – Financial services platform Coins.ph, which allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrency and make digital payments, celebrated the end of May with a milestone – 5 million registered customers in 4 years of operation.
“We are excited and proud to provide 5 million customers with access to financial services,” said Ron Hose, CEO and founder of Coins.ph, announced on Tuesday, May 30.
Hose added, “Millions of our customers have already used Coins.ph’s web and mobile apps to access a wide array of financial services including buying load, paying bills, topping up their Beep card, and purchasing digital currencies, all without needing a bank account.”
Coins.ph also announced Ethereum (ETH) support as well as future support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in June. The company said it wants to support lower-cost blockchain-based payments and allow users to have options and benefit from a wide variety of services. – Rappler.com
