MANILA, Philippines – Apple appears to have accidentally leaked details of an iPad Air 2 and an iPad Mini 3 ahead of an October 16 announcement of new products.
The leak came in the form of an iOS 8.1 iPad user guide, which briefly appeared within iBooks and was taken down some time after being noticed by the public.
9to5 Mac reports the information from the screenshots taken of the new tablets note nearly identical designs to previous models. What’s different, however, is the addition of Touch ID sensors on the Home button.
The iPad Air 2 will also reportedly get its own Burst Mode – a mode introduced on the iPhone 5S – for its camera.
No pricing details were made known, so interested Apple fans still have to wait for the upcoming announcement to learn more. – Rappler.com
