Have you showed your sibling love for National Sibling’s Day?
Siblings from all around the internet share their family love.

MANILA, Philippines – There’s that one day in the year dedicated to celebrating the existence of the people who could be your best friend and dreaded rival all in one. It’s the day when bickering and playful bullying come to a pause, and you are reminded that your sibling is so much more than someone you kind of look like.

It all started when Claudia Evart, founder of the Siblings Day Foundation, decided to dedicate April 10 to the celebration of siblings around the world. Two of her siblings had passed away, and she chose the specific date because it was her late sister’s birthday. It’s taken two US presidents (Bill Clinton and George W. Bush) to make this day not only an event in the US, but around the world as well.

Let’s take a look at some of the more notable siblings celebrating #NationalSiblingsDay in the Philippines and around the world.

Celebrity or not, we all have siblings whom we can be proud of. #NationalSiblingsDay gives us the chance to take selfies and tweet to our heart’s content about the successful brother, the gorgeous older sister, or the cute-enough-to-eat youngest sibling that most of us have.

What about you? How did you show your love on National Siblings Day? Tell us in the comments section below! – Rappler.com/Anna Blanco (Rappler Intern)
