Velosos ask for gov’t protection

The family of Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso, the Filipina on death row in Indonesia, is asking government for help after they received threats Mondaymorning, March 30. They are seeking government protection out of fear they will be tracked down by an alleged international drug syndicate that duped their daughter. Mary Jane is set to be executed in Indonesia after she was found to be in possession of 2.6 kilograms of heroin in her new luggage, supposedly given to her by her recruiter named Cristina. Mary Jane’s parents said they had been threatened in the past by Cristina to keep them silent about the alleged drug syndicate.
