MANILA, Philippines – Here is a list of schools and areas where classes have been suspended for Friday, July 8, due to heavier monsoon rains triggered by Typhoon Butchoy (Nepartak).
Past noontime on Friday, Malacañang announced the suspension of government work and all classes in public schools beginning 1 pm onwards. The Supreme Court also halted work in all courts in Metro Manila, beginning 1 pm as well.
The Palace said the suspension of work in private schools and companies is left to the discretion of their respective heads.
