Resorts World Manila provides free vaccines for employees
RWM’s President and CEO Kingson Sian leads the company’s vaccination campaign

Editor’s note: Resorts World Manila’s parent company, Alliance Global Inc, has recently announced a free vaccination program for all employees across the board. Below is their press release.

Resorts World Manila (RWM), the country’s pioneer integrated resort (IR), is stepping up its support for the nation’s vaccination campaign. Recognizing the importance of vaccines in the fight against the on-going pandemic, RWM, through its parent company Alliance Global Group, Inc (AGI), has committed free vaccines for employees.

March 15, 2021 marked the first year since the community quarantine was placed in the country. The pandemic posed a grave threat to lives and livelihoods all over the world and the Philippines was no exception. Although it has definitely changed the way we live today, there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.

A year into the fight against the pandemic, the government is slowly lifting some lockdown restrictions and is now moving forward with a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Everyday, more and more health workers and frontliners are getting the much-needed vaccine. Even the private sector has stepped up to fill in the gap, eager not only to support frontliners but also to provide a lifeline for the struggling economy.

“Vaccination is not just about personal protection. It is our best hope in ending this pandemic for everyone’s benefit. The sooner we can all get vaccinated, the sooner we can get our lives and livelihood back,” said RWM President and CEO Kingson Sian.

This belief sparked company-wide awareness and promotion campaigns, #AlamMoVax and #HandaKaNaVax. These campaigns sought to inform employees about the benefits and misconceptions of the COVID-19 vaccines and encourage vaccination by stressing its importance.

RWM has been fully committed to keeping not only its guests but also its employees safe and secure throughout the pandemic. Starting from the “Reassured With More Safety” campaign, free COVID-19 testing and health monitoring were provided for its employees.

Stringent safety and sanitation protocols were installed within the complex. RWM’s partner hotels collaborated with the world’s most trusted hygiene and sanitation brands Lysol, Ecolab, and Diversey. It also ensured everyone’s safety with state-of-the-art sanitation technologies on both Grand Wing and Garden Wing gaming areas with UVC Lamp Systems and Japanese nanoAce disinfection technology. These were all calibrated as part of RWM’s commitment to help curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Alternative work arrangements, on-site accommodations, carpooling requests, and shuttle services were provided for employees to reduce outside exposure.

Prioritizing physical immunity and mental health, RWM rolled out quarterly supply of vitamins for employees. Through a collaboration with Infinit Care, it also provided employees with free virtual mental health checks and counsellings.

RWM’s parent company, Alliance Global Inc (AGI), has recently announced a free vaccination program for all employees across the board. Vaccination is a big step to end this pandemic, however, compliance with the government’s safety protocols is still necessary.

“We will continue the fight, and cross the finish line together,” said Sian.
