The Bataan High School for the Arts (BHSA) is looking for gifted and talented students for School Year 2021-2022. 

All applicants must be bonafide residents of Central Luzon (Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales) who are incoming Grade 7 students and are not older than 14 upon enrollment on or before September 6.

Aside from the free tuition fee, privileges such as free boarding and lodging, gadgets or learning devices, classes under arts faculty and experts, and travel opportunities to represent the school, region, and country are expected.

Full scholarships will be given to students who pass the BHSA Entrance Screening Test (BEST).

For Creative Writing applicants, please submit six samples of written works or any combination of poetry or prose (stories, essays, plays, etc.) in Filipino or English.

For Dance applicants, submit a video of a dance performance in either ballet or folk dance.

For Media Arts applicants, please submit at least three to five produced short documentaries or feature films or videos.

For Music applicants, please submit a video of yourself singing any song of your choice and/or performing an Italian song from the 7th century or a song from any musical with a musical instrument.

For Theater applicants, please submit a three-minute video of an acting performance or musical presentation.

For Visual Arts applicants, please submit at least five samples of produced artworks.

Submissions – saved in MP4 format for videos or JPEG files for photos – must be given to bryan.santos001@deped.gov.ph on or before July 15, 2021.
