‘I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I am very confident that this is no exception,’ Vivian says on Instagram

MANILA, Philippines  – Actress Vivian Velez said goodbye to her co-stars in the show Tubig at Langis.

Vivian posted a sneak peek of the death of her character Conching, with a short message on Saturday, March 12.

She wrote on Instagram, “My sincerest love to the staff of ABS-CBN show Tubig at Langis for your heartfelt send-off on my last taping day. I was deeply moved by your actions, kind words, and encouragement. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I am very confident that this is no exception.”

“In an imperfect world, we must often pause once in a while to enjoy the small things in life that give us joy, happiness, and contentment in life. This will be a brief pause, until we meet again. With love, VV.”

Vivian quit the show following a rift with co-star Cristine Reyes, who she accused of being rude to her during taping. According to Vivian, Cristine even asked her to leave the waiting room they were sharing.

But in a TV Patrol interview, Cristine denied Vivian’s claims saying that she had never asked the actress to leave the waiting room they were both in. On the contrary, she said that it was Vivian who had an “attitude problem,” and that even the show’s production staff were complaining about her. “I have evidence, I have messages from my co-stars, from the management, from the staff, that alam naman namin lahat ang totoo (we all know the truth), that you were lying about me,” she told TV Patrol. (READ: Cristine Reyes to Vivian Velez: ‘You were lying about me’)

The production staff of Tubig at Langis also issued a statement, saying that Vivian’s accusations were rooted in miscommunication, which they took responsibility for.

Ara Mina defended her sister, Cristine, and commented, “I’m disheartened that the issue has been blown out of proportion.” (READ: Ara Mina on Cristine Reyes, Vivian Velez issue)

Cristine’s co-stars Dione Monsanto and Jopay Paguia also defended Cristine from bashers, saying they should know the story first before criticizing. – Rappler.com
