MANILA, Philippines – Singer-songwriter Noel Cabangon has a lot of things to be thankful for this year.

His 7th album, Panaginip, won Album of the Year; his other record, Pasko ng Pagbibigayan, was named Best Christmas Recording in the 25th Awit Awards held last November 27.

Cabangon’s latest album, Tuloy ang Byahe, has topped music charts and earned a Gold Record Award since its release in June.

For these reasons, Cabangon will be staging a concert to raise funds for the theater group where he started as an actor, the Philippine Educational Theatre Association (PETA). He will be holding a two-night concert at the PETA Theater Center in New Manila, Quezon City on December 13 and 14.

Billed “Tuloy ang Byahe Ngayong Pasko,” the concert is a repeat of his sold-out performance last September that was attended by his most popular fan, President Noynoy Aquino.

On December 13, Cabangon’s guests are Ely Buendia, Gloc-9 and Aiza Seguerra.

On December 14, his guests are Ogie Alcasid, Jim Paredes, Boboy Garrovillo and Gloc-9.
