Ben&Ben collaborates with Young K of Day6 for reimagined version of ‘Leaves’

Ben&Ben has collaborated with Korean artist Young K of the K-pop band Day6 for a reimagined version of their hit song “Leaves.”

The band teased the remake on their Twitter account on Wednesday, May 26, saying “We reimagined ‘Leaves’ this year with a surprise collaboration from an artist we really love, Young K from the band Day6.”

“In these times, the message that ‘all will be alright in time’ is more relevant than ever, all over the world. We hope you like it!” they said.

The “Leaves” remake is Young K’s first collab with a Filipino artist, according to Bandwagon.

The release, set for Friday, May 28, comes after the release of two new singles from the band, “Upuan” and “Magpahinga,” part of their upcoming sophomore album.

“Leaves” was first released in 2017, and is one of the songs that the folk-pop collective is most known for. It has been covered by the likes of Moira dela Torre and Sungha Jung. – Rappler.com
