First look: Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Peanuts characters are next McDonalds Happy Meal toys

MANILA, Philippines – There are many favored pop culture Christmas traditions and entertainment icons to enjoy in the holiday season (think It’s A Wonderful Life, While You Were Sleeping, Elf…)  – and one of them, the beloved Charlie Brown Christmas, starring Charlie, Snoopy, Woodstock, and the rest of the Peanuts gang. 

Charlie Brown, representing the everyman, won the hearts of fans of all ages as the ultimate lovable underdog. And Snoopy, his pet beagle, is just as much a cultural icon, famous for his whimsical thoughts (he doesn’t talk) and his imagined worlds. 

This Christmas 2015, Rappler can exclusively reveal that the lovable Peanuts crew will return for yet another round as featured Happy Meal toys for McDonalds Philippines.

A Peanuts Movie starring the gang is set to show in the Philippines January 8. Until then, let’s take a look at the toys: 

Charlie Brown and Snoopy bobble toy 

Best friends share a sweet hug. Give them a nudge to see them move side by side.

Spinning Snoopy  

Make Snoopy go round and round when you align him with his spot under the tree. 

Charlie Brown 

Flip the switch on the back to hear Charlie Brown.

Ice Cleaning Woodstock 

Linus 

Linus comes with his blanket, of course. Pull the blanket away then let go to see what happens. 

Lucy 

Lucy has something to tell you – flip the switch behind her to hear it. 

Schroeder and Snoopy 

You can shift Snoopy’s position in this toy, facing away or facing Charlie Brown’s friend Schroeder. 

Peppermint Patty 

This is a pull-and-release toy; watch Patty zoom off, and away she goes.

Sally and Snoopy

Make Sally and Snoopy wobble from side to side. 

Flying Ace Snoopy

According to McDonalds Philippines, you can get the toys starting December 18 until February 14. 

But you can preorder them starting December 11 until December 15. The set is priced at P949, and you’ll receive 10 Happy Meal Food stubs which you can use at your leisure until February 14.
