MANILA, Philippines – Mutya says she’s a simple girl from Isabela with a dream to become a beauty queen. This dream has been with her since the very first time she watched Binibining Pilipinas as a young girl.

Mutya considers Venus Raj her beauty queen idol, saying she relates with Venus’s life story. Venus’s example showed Mutya that dreams come true with hardwork.
