Satchmi’s 6th Vinyl Day set for June 16

MANILA, Philippines – There’s nothing quite like the experience of listening to music on vinyl, and this is what Satchmi is celebrating on its 6th annual Vinyl Day, set to happen on June 16.

The music and lifestyle brand launched the event in 2013 as a trademarked, alternative celebration of music and vinyl culture. This year, they continue to celebrate the iconic music format with a whole-day event at The Axon at Green Sun in Makati.

The event will feature a vinyl market, where a huge selection of records will be available for up to 50% off, and Motorino turntables for up to 20% off.

Sandwich is headlining the lineup of musical acts, which also includes Ben&Ben, Quest, Munimuni, Ourselves The Elves, Flying Ipis, BP Valenzuela, She’s Only Sixteen, Taken by Cars, Carousel Casualties, and Lions and Acrobats.

Aside from celebrating vinyls, the event also welcomes spectators, connoisseurs, and collectors of all kinds – from vinyl, to film photography, to coffee, and clothing, with pop-ups by Film Folk, Homonym, Customthread, Audio Technica, and more.

Documenting the event are Lunar and Sunny16 Lab.
