For another leg of her campaign, presidential candidate and Vice President Leni Robredo visited two provinces in Central Luzon: Nueva Ecija and Tarlac.
The opposition bet is scheduled to hold a campaign rally in the country’s rice granary on Tuesday, March 22. Robredo lost to Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in Nueva Ecija in 2016, where the dictator’s son got over 540,000 votes, versus Robredo’s 216,110.
After her campaign in Nueva Ecija, Robredo is also set to visit Tarlac on March 23. The province is known for being a territory of the Aquinos. In the entire Central Luzon, Robredo only managed to win in Tarlac in 2016.

Actresses Kris Aquino and Angel Locsin shared the stage at the People’s Rally for Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan in Tarlac City, Tarlac, on March 23.
Kris, who was recently diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer, took to the stage despite her frail condition to support the Leni-Kiko tandem. She was joined by her sons Josh and Bimby.

Kris Aquino says all of her older sisters are also present in the rally. Kris says she only found out yesterday that Robredo will hold a rally in Tarlac today.
"Ang umapak dito sa Tarlac ay worth the risk," she says.
