It’s been a whirlwind week for Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in the days leading up to November 15, the deadline of substitution via withdrawal of candidates for the 2022 elections.
On November 11, just two days after she withdrew her reelection bid for mayor, Sara officially joined former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s Lakas-CMD.
Before she took her oath, however, Sara made key stops – to Balesin island for Speaker Lord Allan Velasco’s birthday, and to the Revilla farm in Silang, Cavite, where she stood as principal sponsor in the wedding of the daughter of Lakas-CMD chairman Senator Bong Revilla.
