Two weeks after his historic French Open romp, Rafael Nadal proved his prowess in another sporting arena when he finished tied 6th in the Balearic Golf Pro-Am Championships on Monday, October 26.
The 34-year-old, who boasts a handicap of 0.3, came in 10 shots behind the winner after the 3 day tournament in Llucmajor on his native Mallorca, Marca reported.
The world No. 2 in his chosen sport of tennis followed up 74s in the opening two rounds with a 77 on Monday in the combined Pro-Am event won by Sebastian Garcia.
Nadal proved to be an excellent golfer among 60 players in the tournament, which includes 23 professionals and 37 amateurs.
It wasn’t Nadal’s first foray into golf, with the Spaniard finishing 2nd just last weekend in the V Test Circuit Hexagonal-Autovidal in Calvia
