Roxas to Duterte: Slap me if my degree is a lie

Philippine presidential candidate Mar Roxas reacts to rival Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s claim that Roxas is not a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Duterte earlier said Roxas’ Wharton degree is a myth. Roxas says, “If my Wharton degree is a lie, he can slap me. I won’t avoid it. But if it’s true that I have a Wharton degree, I’ll slap him. There. He finds it so easy to say things that he doesn’t know.” Before that, Duterte accused Roxas’ camp of spreading lies about his health. Rappler, which has been fact checking politicians’ academic records, has independently confirmed Roxas is a graduate.
