MANILA, Philippines – Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest on Monday, September 19, in a historic ceremony that drew in thousands in Britain, and captured the attention of millions worldwide.
The queen reigned for 70 years and died peacefully at her home in Scotland on September 8 at the age of 96.
