Filipinos would continue enjoying free online bank transfers and transactions this year, as more banks announced extensions on waiving InstaPay and PESONet fees.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said 11 banks would waive PESONet fees until December 31, 2021, while 9 banks said it would skip charges until June 30.

PESONet transactions done before 3 pm are processed within the same day.

Meanwhile, 4 banks said it would waive InstaPay fees until December 31, while 10 banks said it would not charge until June 30. Two banks said they were waiving fees before the end of April.

InstaPay allows users to send up to P50,000 per transaction instantly.
