MANILA, Philippines – Don’t Worry Darling co-stars Harry Styles and Olive Wilde may have something to worry about now – the two have reportedly split after almost two years of dating, according to US media.
A source told PEOPLE Magazine that it was “a very amicable decision” to go their separate ways, as Styles, 28, is going on tour abroad, and Wilde, 38, is focusing on her kids and her work in Los Angeles. The source added that they are “still very close friends,” and that they just have “different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
The couple split just a few months after the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling in September, which Wilde directed and appeared in, alongside lead stars Styles and Florence Pugh. Because the film was infamous for alleged cast feuds, public controversies, and red carpet drama, “the public pressure on them has been difficult,” the source added. “They’ve had ups and downs throughout the relationship.”
The One Direction alum and Booksmart director were first romantically linked in January 2021 after being spotted holding hands at the wedding of Styles’ manager Jeff Azoff.
Wilde was previously engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis, but they split in November 2020, after almost 10 years together. They have two kids. To add to the Don’t Worry Darling drama, Wilde was publicly and “viciously” served with custody documents by Sudeikis during the CinemaCon presentation of her film.
Prior to her engagement with Sudeikis, was married to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011. – Rappler.com
