Sarah Geronimo once again represented the Philippines on the international stage as part of the online ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2021 streamed on YouTube on June 5.
For the event, Sarah shared her viral performance of "Ikot-Ikot," which was originally part of her digital concert in March. The performance featured Sarah singing her 2013 hit from a revolving set.
"I am truly honored to be a part of this," Sarah said before her performance was streamed.
"Music is a universal language that speaks to our soul through every stage of life. Music is very powerful. It can heal a wounded heart, uplift one's spirit, and bring renewed hope. I do hope our music and performances can be a source of inspiration for all of you," she said.
Sarah performed alongside fellow artists from Japan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Sarah first performed at the music festival in 2018, when she sang her hit songs "Kilometro" and "Tala." – Rappler.com
