
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Puerto Rico’s Stephanie del Valle is the new Miss World 2016!
Miss World 2015, Spain’s Mireia Lalaguna, crowned her successor on December 18 at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland, USA.
For the final question that the Top 5 candidates had to answer, Stephanie was asked, “If you had an opportunity to change something about the world, what would it be?”
She answered: “If I had an opportunity to change something about the world, I think what I would do is send the message of how important it is to change exclusion for acceptance, to promote and provide justice for others, and the importance of helping those in need.”
The night was hosted by Miss World 2013 Megan Young and Jason Cook.
The Philippines’ Catriona Gray won one of the pre-pageant challenges, Multimedia. Catriona was among the Top 5 finalists of the competition. – Rappler.com
