MANILA, Philippines – Cardinals from all over the world have convened inside the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City for the conclave to elect the new pope.
But in the one month since Benedict XVI’s historic annoucement to quit the papacy, talks about who will be named his successor have already begun. Whether specific names or general ideals, whether Roman Catholic or not, people have differing opinions about who should be the next leader of the Catholic Church and what qualities he must possess.
