MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. asked the Senate, under the leadership of Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, to take the lead in reviewing the proposed economic amendments to the 1987 Constitution.
Zubiri told reporters in a briefing on Monday, January 15, that he met with the President and his cousin, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, regarding the ongoing “People’s Initiative” to change the charter.
