Thurman looks past Pacquiao, says he wants to fight Spence
Keith Thurman claims he will 'crucify' Manny Pacquiao in their welterweight unification bout

MANILA, Philippines – Keith Thurman has done it again: disrespecting Manny Pacquiao.

Sustaining his earlier pronouncements, the World Boxing Association super welterweight champion is clearly looking past Pacquiao – the regular titlist – and their unifying title duel.

In a recent Instagram live video done on a private plane as he headed for an interview with Pacquiao in Los Angeles, Thurman repeated his query for the Filipino icon’s retirement plans.

According to the unbeaten American, Pacquiao is “easy work,” adding he would be “ready for [Errol] Spence or everybody after he has done away with the eight-division world champion.

Spence is slated to tangle with Shawn Porter in September for the World Boxing Council version of the 147-pound crown and Thurman is picking Spence to prevail.

Normally, Pacquiao would just shrug off insults by an opponent. (READ: Pacquiao: ‘I’ll make Thurman eat his words’)

According to those in his inner circle, however, Pacquiao got pissed when Thurman took a line out of the Bible.

In particular, they cited Thurman saying he will “crucify” Pacquiao. (READ: Pacquiao vows to thrash ‘loudmouth’ Thurman)

It will be known who can back up their words when they tangle on July 20 (July 21, Manila time) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. – Rappler.com
