Gilas 3×3 squad hopes to walk the talk

MANILA, Philippines – In basketball, you gotta walk the talk.

That will be the case, quite literally, in the FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2018 event this weekend, as the Gilas Pilipinas players are set to wear the debuting LeBron Soldier 12 “Agimat” shoes with the tagline “Mula Mandirigma sa Mandirigma” (From Warrior to Warrior). 

Philippine bets Christian Standhardinger, RR Pogoy, Stanley Pringle and Troy Rosario are set to battle the world’s best players at the Philippine Arena from June 8 to 12.

Former National University MVPs Jack Danielle Animam and Afril Bernardino also hope to rock the LeBron shoes in the women’s side along with Gemma Miranda and Janine Pontejos.
