The four Filipino athletes who took home medals from the Tokyo Olympics have been immortalized through art.

Members of the Tenement Visual Artists honored Hidilyn Diaz, Nesthy Petecio, Carlo Paalam, and Eumir Marcial by completing a mural of the four at the Tenement Court in Taguig City.

The collage captures the four Filipino sports heroes in their moments of glory, with Diaz and Petecio raising their medals and Paalam and Marcial celebrating their respective victories.

A landmark in the local hoops scene, the famed court has become a venue where sports meets art.

The Tenement Court has been visited by Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and Utah Jazz ace Jordan Clarkson and featured murals of NBA greats Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan to name a few. – Rappler.com
