Cotabato

Cotabato City is a 3rd-class independent component city in the Philippines. It is the regional center of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, located in Mindanao.

As an independent component city, it is administratively independent from Maguindanao del Norte.

Cotabato City has a population of 325,079 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 176 square kilometers. It consists of 37 barangays.

In the 2022 elections, the city had 120,221 registered voters.
