MANILA, Philippines – “It was one of those jobs that didn’t feel like a job. How can something be a job when you’re having too much fun. It was just nuts!”
Suzi started her on-cam career when she joined GAMEPLAN in 1996. She joined Paolo Bediones and Mon Castro as the second generation of hosts. In 1997, Paolo Abrera returned to the show and together they travelled all over the Philippines (and even in Asia & Europe) to try out sports, meet passionate people, and have awesome adventures.
In 2001, Paolo and Suzi started a new adventurous chapter by saying goodbye to the show they loved and saying hello to a new life together as husband and wife.
In the five years as GAMEPLAN host, Suzi got to try out different kinds of sports and travel all over the Philippines and other countries to feature sports (as the show tagline goes) in the air, on the ground, and underwater.
Of the more adventures sports she’s jumped off a cliff to hang glide, rolled down a hill on a luge, and gone in the water to ski and scuba dive. Of the job as host she says, “People wanted to trade places with us because they knew we got to travel, that we got to try out sports, that we got to be active.”
GAMEPLAN will soon be on Rappler as a regular show. On it’s return Suzi says, “To see it once again revived, and this time as a web show and to give others maybe a chance to be part of it, to be featured, to host it, is just so exciting.” – Rappler.com
