TAGAYTAY, Philippines – The best advenutres are the ones you don’t plan. The most memorable ones are the ones that make you get out of your comfort zone.
That’s exactly what Juls, Ton and Amanda exeperienced once they found themselves in Tagaytay. After a few laughs in Sky Ranch, they all received an SMS from Gameplan HQ sending them to three different locations for three different adventures.
Ton was sent to Nuvali to try wakeboarding. Amanda was tasked to drive to Cavite and try paragliding. Julian was sent to Carmona to try out motocross riding.
Each given extreme sports to try in the air, on the ground, and in the water the three Gameplan hosts were definitely challenged to go beyond what they were used to doing.
Ton the body-weight workout fiend, needed to let go of his naturally tendency to pull his body weight against the pull of the cables. Every time he pulled, he crashed into the lake.
Amanda, used to being on the ground and using her feet in soccer, had to adapt to working with a parachute and catching the wind.
Juls the diver and mountaineer suddenly had to work with a motocross bike.
When you need to go beyond what you’re used to, it can frustrating and disheartening – especially if there’s a camera recording your failed attempts. Will the three get over the hump and embrace the challenge?
Will Ton ever get to stand up on his board? Will Amanda fly swiftly with her parachute? Will Juls even get to start his motorbike?
