After Jho Maraguinot, Ateneo’s Bea de Leon takes talents to PSL
De Leon bolsters an already formidable Foton lineup that parades towering sisters Jaja Santiago and Dindin Santiago-Manabat

MANILA, Philippines – Another member of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles will see action in the Philippine SuperLiga (PSL).

Bea de Leon will join the Foton Tornadoes in the PSL Invitational Conference, days after the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors announced they have acquired the services of Jho Maraguinot.

The feisty middle blocker will bolster an already formidable Tornadoes lineup that parades towering sisters Jaja Santiago and Dindin Santiago-Manabat.

With de Leon in the fold, Foton looks to surpass its bronze-medal finish in the PSL Grand Prix last May.

Maraguinot, meanwhile, will look to provide the same production for the Lady Realtors, who have yet to win a PSL championship.

Both de Leon and Maraguinot still have a year left to play in the UAAP but they have an option to forego their final year of eligibility with the Lady Eagles, who failed to the reach the UAAP finals for the first time in 7 years.

The PSL Invitational Conference will kick off on June 23. – Rappler.com
