About Abigail Abigan
Abigail Abigan is community and civic engagement specialist under MovePH, Rappler’s civic engagement arm.
She started as an intern for Newsbreak and became a core mover for MovePH in 2016, when she covered local elections in the provinces. She also helped organize various Rappler campaigns such as the Agos disaster preparedness campaign; #NotOnMyWatch anti-corruption caravan; #FactsMatter roadshows focused on combatting disinformation; and the #SaferRoadsPH road safety awareness campaign; the project’s microsite was awarded the 2018 SEMRush Data Journalism Website of the Year.
In her spare time, she serves in the Marketing Team of Christ Commission Fellowship’s Singles Ministry (B1G) to help share the Gospel in the online world.
