Hidilyn Diaz gets house and lot from Century Properties

PHirst Park Homes

'Hidilyn's story is every Filipino's story of struggle and perseverance amidst adversities,' says PHirst Park Homes president Ricky Celis

The Century Properties Group joined a growing list of companies rewarding Filipina weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz after she nabbed a coveted Olympic gold medal.

Century Properties executive chairman Jose Antonio on Tuesday, July 27, said PHirst Park Homes, the company’s first home buyer brand, is awarding a house and lot package to Diaz for “bringing home the gold and bringing pride to the Philippines.”

“Hidilyn’s story is every Filipino’s story of struggle and perseverance amidst adversities. She even improvised her own weightlifting equipment out of bamboo sticks and water bottles in order to train with her limited resources,” said PHirst Park Homes president Ricky Celis.

Diaz will be able to choose where she wants to live in the following areas: Tanza and the newly launched General Trias City development in Cavite; Lipa City and Nasugbu, Batangas; San Pablo City and Calamba City, Laguna; Pandi, Bulacan; or Magalang, Pampanga.

PHirst Park Homes will roll out two more projects in Northern Luzon and another one in Southern Luzon by year-end.

Megaworld Corporation earlier announced it will give Diaz a condominium unit worth P14 million in Eastwood City in Quezon City.

Tycoons Ramon Ang and Manny Pangilinan are giving P10 million each, while House Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero pledged P3 million.

On top of these, an Olympic gold is worth P10 million under the Philippine Sports Commission’s incentive system. – Rappler.com
