LIVE UPDATES: Miss International 2022 Coronation Night


It’s finally happening!

After waiting for over a year, Hannah Arnold, who was crowned in July 2021is representing the Philippines in the 2022 edition of the Miss International pageant. 

“I’ve been training since 2018, actually, so it’s not only a year and a half that I’ve been waiting for this, it’s been four years exactly. Finally, my dream is coming true,” she said during her send-off. 

On December 7, the Miss International pageant announced the start of voting for its Top 15. Hannah is included in the top five leaders of the Asia and Oceania cluster. 

The Miss International 2022 finals night will take place on December 13 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. Hannah is competing in hopes of winning the Philippines’ seventh Miss International crown.

Germany’s Jasmin Selberg is Miss International 2022

Jasmin bested 65 candidates in the competition to be Germany’s fourth representative to win the title. 

Jasmin succeeded Miss International 2019’s Bint Sireethorn Leearamwat. Bint, who came from Thailand, held the crown for more than three years as both the 2020 and 2021 editions of the pageant were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic

PH’s Hannah Arnold concludes Miss International journey in Top 15

The 26-year-old beauty queen from Masbate was the fifth candidate to be called for the Top 15, but failed to make it to the Top 8 of the pageant. 

Candidates moving on to the next round of the competition are:

1) Dominican Republic
2) Cabo Verde
3) Germany
4) Jamaica
5) Colombia
6) Spain
7) Canada
8) Peru
