Eats time! Where you can catch the Mercato food fair in Metro Manila
The outdoor Sunset Markets by Mercato are stationed at these four malls every weekend

Been missing your regular weekend food fairs and night markets? Now that restrictions have eased and curfews have been lifted under Alert Level 3, Mercato Centrale, BGC’s OG outdoor night market, has been popping up in even more locations around the Metro.

Sunset Markets by Mercato is currently stationed in four Metro Manila malls every weekend, starting with their newest location in Piazza Venice, McKinley Hill, Taguig City. The outdoor food market, which started on October 30, houses several local street vendors and outdoor seating with tents, and is open from Thursdays to Sundays, 3 pm to 10 pm.

Mercato also has a Sunset Market in Central Plaza, Eastwood City, Quezon City. The outdoor food fair has over 30 food merchants and is open from Thursdays to Sundays, 3 pm to 10 pm.

For Pasay City residents, there’s also Mercato by the Bay, located in the SM by the Bay Central Park. The biggest food market in the city so far, it’s open from Wednesdays to Sundays from 3 pm to 10 pm.

Sunset Market by Mercato can also be found at Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City from Thursdays to Sundays, 3 pm to 9pm.

Mercato Centrale launched their first physical store and cloud kitchen – Mercato United Kitchen – in August at Ayala Malls Circuit, Makati City. The store, which houses several of the food fair’s popular vendors, can cater to pick-up, delivery, and dine-in orders daily from 10 am to 9:30 pm.

The BGC weekend food festival closed for business at the start of March 2020’s lockdown. They launched their first online delivery portal in June 2020 and reopened for outdoor dining in October 2020 at High StrEAT, an outdoor takeout food market at the Bonifacio High Street Ampitheater in Taguig City. – Steph Arnaldo/Rappler.com
