Netizens pay tribute to graduating stars after La Salle-Ateneo UAAP Finals
MANILA, Philippines – Aside from the congratulations and the excitement, there was also an outpouring of emotion from netizens in the wake of the DLSU Ladu Spikers' championship victory over the Ateneo Lady Eagles in the UAAP Season 78 women's volleyball tournament.
UAAP fans old and new took to social media Saturday, April 30 to pay tribute to the graduating college volleyball stars from both schools.

The sadness of Ateneo fans was palpable even through smartphone or computer screens as they remembered the illustrious collegiate career of 3-time reigning MVP Alyssa Valdez.

The hashtag #ThankYouAlyssaValdez was also used by netizens to show their appreciation for 5 years of excellence for Valdez.
Valdez left it all out on the floor Saturday, scoring 31 points as she tried to carry her team on her shoulders.
