MANILA, Philippines – Actor JC de Vera spoke up about rumors of a past relationship between him and GMA 7 actress LJ Reyes.

“Separation? Wala, wala. Wala pong nangyaring (No such thing happened) separation.” he told reporters during the press conference for the Dreamboys concert.

“Actually, hindi talaga napunta dun. Bali-balita lang po [ang hiwalayan]” he added. (It didn’t get there. Those are rumors.) 

In a separate interview with Pep, JC said that the relationship did not push through due to their respective busy schedules. He also said that he would prefer not to say anything since the matter is between him and LJ.

“A, walang-walang confirmation about the relationship. That part, I want to keep private because LJ is nice person,” JC said in Filipino.

In a previous interview with Pep, LJ said that there was never a breakup, saying that “things will never blossom if it is not God’s plan.” 

Meanwhile, JC is preparing for the Dreamboys concert to be held on July 11, at the Music Museum along with Matteo Guidicelli and Daniel Matsunaga. JC said they will make sure that their fans will have a good time. 

“Whatever comes up, yun lang ang masasabi ko. Kung ano man ang mapagkasunduan namin ng production, iyon ang mangyayari as long as ma-entertain namin ang lahat,” he said.
