Dindi Pajares left Manila for Poland on Wednesday, August 4, to represent the Philippines in the Miss Supranational pageant.

“As I embark on a journey to raise our flag, I am ecstatic to bring to Poland the best of the Philippines. With the pieces of luggage that I have are my hopes, dreams, love and support of my beloved country,” she said, posting photo of her holding the Philippine flag.

Fellow Filipina beauty queens like Jehza Huelar, Kathleen Paton, Maureen Montagne, Hannah Arnold, and Pauline Amelinckx sent their well-wishes as Dindi vies for the crown.

Dindi was chosen by her fellow MWP candidates for the Miss Supranational title. She was appointed on July 24, after the Miss World Philippines (MWP) postponed the coronation night from July 25 to August 8.

The coronation night has since been postponed indefinitely, due to lockdown measures. Seven titles are still at stake – Miss World Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Miss Eco Teen Philippines, Reinahispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Multinational, Miss Philippines Tourism, and Miss Environment International.

In a separate post, Dindi shared how happy she is with the title. “Words cannot express how grateful and honored I felt when I was crowned as Miss Supranational Philippines 2021. The love and support I have received along the way has been priceless,” she said.

After arriving in Poland, Dindi is expected to participate in pre-pageant events ahead of the August 21 coronation night. Dindi hopes to win the country’s second Miss Supranational crown after Mutya Daul in 2013. – Rappler.com
