MANILA, Philippines – An intertropical convergence zone affecting Southern Luzon will bring cloudy skies over parts of Luzon on Friday, October 6, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 4 pm bulletin Thursday, October 5, PAGASA said these skies will bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Aurora.

These areas may experience possible scattered lightning, and light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains, which may cause flooding.

The rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies apart from isolated rainshowers, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast to east over Northern Luzon and Central Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the southeast to east over Southern Luzon and Visayas, and from south to southeast over Mindanao. – Rappler.com
