MANILA, Philippines – The entire country will only have isolated thunderstorms on Monday, September 4.

In a bulletin issued 4 pm on Sunday, September 3, state weather bureau PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines will only have scattered rainshowers.

PAGASA is also monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) located 1,415 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora, but this LPA is still too far to affect the country.

There’s also a tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) – Severe Tropical Storm Mawar – at 625 kilometers west northwest of extreme Northern Luzon.

The severe tropical storm is moving away from the Philippines, heading west northwest at 10 kilometers per hour.
