A Samar student documents her daily journey to the mountains to attend her online classes

Living in a remote area proves to be a daunting challenge for some college students in Barangay Pamamas-an, Motiong, Samar, as online classes begin in August. They have to trek to the mountains every day just to get an internet signal.

In this video, 21-year-old Jessa Mae Gabiana walks us through their daily journey to show us her classroom in the mountains. She also shows us how students in the provinces are struggling and coping with distance learning.
